Haiku of the Week

Wheat bricks, solid barms,

I take a bite, lose a tooth:

Yesterday’s bread rolls.

  1. Oh, the sorrows of stale bread. Sometimes microwaving helps; sometimes, no amount of reheating can restore old bread to its former glory. At that point, you either make a French toast casserole or grind the loaves into breadcrumbs.
Alternatively, you could power through and sacrifice teeth. (My condolences, Abe.)
